Context and Problem Statement:
The project aims to analyze usability challenges in existing EHRs and design a more efficient and visually clear system. Current EHR systems often suffer from poor usability, interoperability issues, and workflow disruption, hindering patient care.
Research Findings:
Key findings include understanding the process of case taking in hospitals, the importance of OPD and IP numbers for linking patient data, the role of the MRD in maintaining records, and challenges faced by doctors/MRDs such as difficult navigation, too many clicks, information overload, and inconsistent data entry.
